In a world of mass-produced products, Melin Teifi stands out from the crowd and started in 1981 on a small industrial estate in Henllan, made up of just three people. We then moved our workshop back to Cambrian Mills in 1981, and is now made up of 8 hardworking individuals.
History
The Teifi Valley has been the beating heart of the woollen trade in Wales for hundreds of years, dating back to the nineteenth century. Still producing the finest traditional Welsh flannel, The National Museum of Wales chose our mil at Dre-fach Felindre on Teifiside to share this history. We use the highest quality materials and local craftsmanship to create these wonderful fabrics.
Fashions
Taking inspiration from Welsh workmen from days gone by, the fashions in the Melin Teifi folder offer classic styles from these familiar garments. Although listed as menswear in the traditional sense, these items are also suitable for any gender. Making use of our Welsh wool, we offer jumpers, shirts and more in a range of colours. Shirts and smocks can be supplied in any pattern within our range of traditional Welsh flannel. We have a variety of standard sized clothing, with customised sizes taking three to four weeks for delivery.
